Delete your account
Deleting your IRON&OVEN account deletes your email address, phone number, passkeys, any link to Apple or Google, and sign-ins, and the account's AI usage records. Your logs, photos and chat were never with us: they live on your phone, and deleting the app deletes them. If you want a copy first, use Settings → Export my data.
In the app
The quickest way, on iPhone and Android:
- Open IRON&OVEN, signed in to the account.
- Go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
- Confirm. It's done straight away, and the app signs you out.
By email
Can't get into the app? Email hello@ironandoven.com from the address you sign in with, with "Delete my account" in the subject. We delete it and reply to confirm, within 30 days. If you write from another address, we'll ask you to use the account's address, so nobody can delete someone else's account.
What happens to the rest
- Your subscription keeps running until you cancel it. On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. On Android: the Google Play app → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Purchases are unlinked, not lost. Sign in with a new account and restore purchases, and an active subscription or Lifetime comes with you.
- A deleted account's ID and dates (no email in them) are kept for 30 days so old sign-ins are refused, then deleted.
- Signed in with Apple or Google? IRON&OVEN stays listed in your Apple ID or Google account until you remove it there. On iPhone: Settings → your name → Sign in with Apple.
- Backups age out on their own: 7 days of point-in-time recovery, and nightly encrypted snapshots for about 12 months.
